JOB DESCRIPTION: BRAND MANAGER TO DR. KENECHUKWU NNAMANI
Position Title
Brand Manager / Personal Brand & Strategic Communications Manager
Reports To
Dr. Kenechukwu Nnamani
Role Summary
The Brand Manager will be responsible for managing, positioning, and growing the personal and professional brand of Dr. Kenechukwu Nnamani across public service, investment promotion, business, media, and leadership platforms.
The role requires someone who can think strategically, create strong content, manage perception, document key activities, and ensure that every public-facing communication reflects excellence, influence, credibility, and leadership.
This is not just a social media role. It is a reputation, visibility, storytelling, and strategic positioning role.
Core Responsibilities
1. Personal Brand Strategy
Develop and manage a clear personal brand direction for Dr. Kenechukwu Nnamani, positioning him as a serious investment leader, public sector reformer, trade strategist, entrepreneur, and emerging national voice.
The Brand Manager must ensure that all content, visuals, captions, videos, interviews, speeches, and public appearances align with this positioning.
2. Content Planning and Execution
Create a weekly and monthly content calendar for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and WhatsApp status.
Content should cover:
- ESIDA and investment promotion activities
- Governor-aligned development work
- investor missions and stakeholder engagements
- international trade and China-Africa business
- Enugu State economic opportunities
- personal leadership reflections
- business lessons
- behind-the-scenes work ethic and execution
- public service, governance, and development stories
3. Daily Documentation
Follow, collect, organize, and document important moments from meetings, site visits, investor engagements, travels, events, factory visits, official activities, and personal brand moments.
The Brand Manager must ensure no strong moment is wasted.
This includes photos, short videos, quote cards, voice notes, meeting highlights, and behind-the-scenes content.
4. Writing and Caption Development
Draft strong, polished, human captions, LinkedIn posts, video scripts, talking points, press-style updates, short reflections, and public statements.
The writing must sound mature, intelligent, concise, and emotionally powerful without sounding artificial or exaggerated.
5. Video Content Direction
Work with editors, videographers, photographers, and designers to turn raw footage into powerful short-form and long-form content.
This includes:
- reels
- TikTok clips
- YouTube shorts
- LinkedIn videos
- documentary-style clips
- investor experience videos
- voice-over scripts
- event highlight videos
- personal brand storytelling videos
6. Visual Brand Management
Maintain consistency in colours, fonts, layouts, tone, logo use, photography style, and design quality across all platforms.
The Brand Manager must ensure that all visual materials look premium, professional, clean, and aligned with the image of a serious public leader and business executive.
7. Media and Public Relations Support
Identify opportunities for interviews, features, podcasts, panels, articles, media mentions, speaking engagements, and strategic public appearances.
Prepare media briefs, talking points, and post-event publicity plans.
8. Thought Leadership Development
Convert Dr. Kenechukwu Nnamani’s ideas, voice notes, conversations, memos, and work experiences into thought leadership content.
Topics may include:
- investment promotion
- Enugu’s economic transformation
- public-private partnerships
- international trade
- logistics
- real estate and infrastructure
- governance and execution
- youth enterprise
- China-Africa business
- leadership and discipline
9. Reputation and Perception Management
Monitor how the brand is perceived online and offline.
Flag reputational risks early, suggest better messaging, and ensure that public communication remains disciplined, respectful, strategic, and aligned with long-term leadership goals.
10. Event and Stakeholder Visibility
Ensure that all major events, meetings, investor missions, conferences, and stakeholder engagements are properly captured, branded, publicized, and converted into useful content before, during, and after the event.
11. Brand Asset Management
Maintain an organized digital archive of:
- photos
- videos
- logos
- official portraits
- speeches
- captions
- press materials
- design templates
- event folders
- media mentions
- stakeholder photos
- brand documents
12. Performance Tracking
Track growth, engagement, reach, audience quality, content performance, and public response across all platforms.
Prepare weekly performance summaries showing what is working, what needs improvement, and what should be done next.

The Brand Manager will be expected to deliver:
- Weekly content calendar
- Daily content ideas and documentation
- Minimum of 4 to 7 strong weekly social media posts
- Minimum of 3 to 5 short-form videos weekly
- Monthly personal brand report
- Event content plans and post-event publicity
- Organized media archive
- Strong LinkedIn positioning
- Consistent Instagram and WhatsApp visibility
- Improved public perception, visibility, and influence
Work Style Required
The person must be proactive, fast, discreet, creative, disciplined, and able to work around a high-pressure schedule.
They must not wait to be pushed every time. They should be able to observe what is happening around Dr. Kenechukwu Nnamani and immediately identify what should become content, what should remain private, and what should be strategically amplified.
Success Measurement
The Brand Manager will be successful if Dr. Kenechukwu Nnamani becomes more visible, more respected, more clearly positioned, and more consistently associated with investment leadership, execution, international trade, governance, innovation, and Enugu’s economic transformation.
Pay: ₦70,000.00 - ₦100,000.00 per month
