Role Description
This is a full-time, remote volunteer role for a Brand Strategist at World Study Hub. The Brand Strategist will help define and strengthen the organization’s brand identity across digital platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual presentation, and tone. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing brand positioning, creating brand guidelines, and refining the brand story to resonate with Nigerian students aspiring to study abroad. The role involves conducting audience and competitor research, identifying key value propositions, and aligning communication strategies with the organization’s mission. The Brand Strategist will collaborate with content, social media, and design volunteers to plan campaigns, review brand touchpoints, and monitor brand perception, making data-informed recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong brand-focused skills, including Brand Strategy, Brand Development, and Branding.
- Experience in Brand Management, including maintaining consistency across channels and monitoring brand perception.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, student-friendly messages.
- Background or interest in education, international studies, or student advisory services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed volunteer team.
- Experience with digital marketing, social media strategy, or content planning is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Branding, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
