Community Association Manager
Position Description:
We are a full-service management company in a growing and recession resistant industry that services condominium and homeowner associations. Our client communities include high-rise condos, low-rise condos, townhouse communities, cluster home communities, single family home associations, Housing for over 55 Communities, and master planned HOA communities.
We are seeking a Community Manager for a portfolio of mixed communities. Do you have people and customer service experience in hospitality, apartment/multi-family management, community association management, or a similar field? Do you like working with people and solving problems? Are you a self-starter who can solve problems, multi-task and respond to a fast-paced environment? Can you work independently?
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
You will manage a portfolio of condominium and homeowner associations, being responsible for all aspects of serving the owners and the Association Boards with superior client service and pro-active problem solving.
Duties include the inspection of properties, management of compliance within the communities, fully transparent communication with the Board and owners, working with community vendors and contractors to coordinate service and maintenance needs, and preparation for and attendance at Association meetings.
The position will require skills and background in preparing annual budgets, analyzing financial statements, performing disciplined project management, diagnosing maintenance problems and needs, effectively communicating in oral and written form, and providing leadership skills in communicating with the Board of Directors of your assigned communities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Understanding of contractual bidding processes
· Ability to read, understand and explain financial statements
· Ability to create and present an annual budget for your communities
· Ability to prepare agendas and to guide and/or lead Boards and Owners meetings
· Ability to think and work independently and prioritize tasks and requests
· General knowledge of maintenance and basic residential construction materials and systems
· Ability to oversee on-site administrative and/or maintenance staff where applicable
· Ability to conduct periodic community inspections on foot and/or from your vehicle
· Ability to mediate and resolve complaints from owners
· Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for daily use
· College degree preferred and/or equivalent customer service or property management industry experience
· Must be accountable, analytical and have a self-driven desire to learn
Notes:
Please note that listed salary range is subject to relevant experience. It is possible to earn more based on the size of the Community Manager's portfolio. Additional earnings are available for securing new clients and for providing additional services to existing clients as defined in the client contracts.
Managers will receive a company paid cell phone and a monthly vehicle allowance.
Some evening meetings will be required based on client needs and Board availability. Due to the nature of the Manager positions and client needs, working hours are flexible and there is no preset or fixed schedule.
The Community Manager position is based out of our Avon office location but our Managers spend a portion of their time in the field at their assigned properties and may also be able to occasionally work remotely.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
