Community Engagement Manager
The Community Engagement Manager supports efforts to build meaningful relationships with donors, guests, families, and the broader community to advance the mission of Brigid’s Path. This position assists with the planning and execution of donor-focused events, family engagement initiatives, and community awareness activities. The Community Engagement Manager demonstrates sound judgment in day-to-day responsibilities, works collaboratively with the development team, and upholds the values and principles of Brigid’s Path with integrity and professionalism.
Events Coordination
- Support the planning and execution of donors, community, and family engagement events in collaboration with the Director of Development.
- Assist in coordinating engagement opportunities for donors, volunteers, and community partners, including meet-and-greets and third-party events.
- Serve as a point of contact for select community-hosted fundraisers and external engagement activities.
- Ensure timely follow-up with event participants to support relationship stewardship efforts.
- Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of event participation and outcomes within the donor database.
- Participate in event debriefs and provide input for continuous improvement.
Community Awareness & Engagement
- Assist in coordinating Open Houses and guided tours of Brigid’s Path facilities.
- Represent Brigid’s Path at select speaking engagements and community events as needed.
Volunteer Coordination & Program Expansion
- Support recruitment and communication with prospective volunteers.
- Assist in scheduling volunteers for training, events, and programs, ensuring clear communication and coverage.
Donor Recognition & Campaign Support
- Assist with donor recognition efforts in collaboration with the Director of Development.
- Provide support for donor engagement activities and campaigns as assigned.
Donor Database Management
- Maintain and update donor records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Record donor interactions and communication notes to support engagement efforts.
- Generate basic reports and lists to support events and fundraising activities.
Grant Support
- Assist in tracking grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and calendars in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Manager.
- Conduct initial research on potential grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission.
Additional Requirements
- Attend meetings and events within the community, requiring regular local travel.
- Maintain reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This position will be based at Brigid’s Path in Dayton, Ohio, opportunity for hybrid and will be traveling up to 25% of the time within a 30-mile radius. This job operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners.
