About the Role
As a Community Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care within our home. You will lead by example, offering guidance, support, and clinical expertise to your team while working collaboratively with the General Manager, Senior Management Team and Care Coordinator, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, residents, relatives, and external professionals, you will help drive excellence, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement within the home.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your experience, initiative, and communication skills will directly contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and inspire the care team to deliver high-quality, relationship-centred care
- Ensure the smooth running of shifts and continuity of care at all times
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support medication administration and ensure safe management in line with policies and best practice
- Promote dignity, independence, and meaningful engagement for all residents
- Carry out audits and support quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
- Support staff supervision, training, and performance development
- Work in line with CQC standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
About You
We are looking for a motivated and approachable individual who brings both experience and professionalism:
- QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or above)
- Experience in a senior, supervisory, or leadership role within adult social care
- Strong experience in medication administration and clinical care
- Good understanding of dementia care and best practice
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Confident in care planning, risk assessments, and team support
- A proactive, positive approach with a commitment to high standards
