Community Manager
Senior Community Manager – The Duncan
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Community Manager to lead The Duncan, a beautiful Class A community in Chicago’s West Loop.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, creating a polished resident experience, and taking ownership of a high-performing property. We’re looking for a manager who is professional, approachable, organized, and confident — someone who can build strong relationships with residents and team members while keeping operations running smoothly.
In this role, you’ll oversee:
- Day-to-day property operations
- Leasing performance, renewals, and resident retention
- Resident relations and overall resident experience
- Financial performance, reporting, budgets, and delinquency
- Vendor coordination and maintenance follow-up
- Property presentation and Class A community standards
- Leadership and support of the on-site team, including the Assistant Manager, Leasing Manager, janitorial team, and maintenance team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience managing a luxury, Class A, or high-end residential property
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A polished, customer-service-focused approach
- The ability to be professional, approachable, and firm when needed
- Experience with leasing performance, renewals, budgets, reporting, and resident concerns
- Yardi experience preferred
The Duncan does include an affordable housing component, but ARO or voucher experience is not required. Experience with ARO, project-based vouchers, or similar programs is a plus.
An Illinois Leasing License is preferred, but not required at the time of hire. If needed, the license must be obtained within 60 days of hire and will be company-paid.
If you’re a strong property management leader who takes pride in the resident experience, team culture, and property performance, we’d love to connect.
