Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Creator role based in Lekki. The Content Creator will develop, write, and produce engaging content that reflects Caring Habitat’s mission of healing and recovery, including social media posts, blog articles, patient education materials, and internal communications. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing content calendars, collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to gather stories and information, and adapting complex concepts into clear, supportive language. The role also involves capturing photos or short videos on-site (where appropriate and compliant with privacy standards), optimizing content for digital channels, and monitoring engagement metrics to improve content effectiveness. The Content Creator will ensure all materials are accurate, sensitive to patient needs, and consistent with the organization’s brand and tone.
Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create clear, empathetic, and engaging content.
- Experience developing content for digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and websites.
- Ability to plan and manage content calendars, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of content optimization and digital communication best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams.
- Sensitivity to topics related to healing, recovery, and patient confidentiality; prior experience in healthcare or wellness is an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic content creation tools (e.g., word processing, presentation, and simple design or video tools) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
