Content Creator & Multimedia Marketing Coordinator
Position Summary
Heart to Heart is seeking a creative, organized and highly motivated Content Creator & Multimedia Marketing Coordinator to support the growth of our marketing department through mission-driven storytelling, photography, videography, content production and marketing execution.
This role is responsible for capturing and creating authentic content that supports recruitment, employee engagement, service line awareness, brand growth, internal communication and community connection across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, comfortable working independently in the field and passionate about telling meaningful stories through photo, video and digital content. This position will regularly travel to homes, programs, events and community settings to capture content and support marketing initiatives.
While content creation is the primary focus of this role, this individual will also support marketing execution by assisting with social media scheduling, campaign coordination, content organization and day-to-day marketing support, particularly during periods of increased departmental need.
Because many employee events, community outings, recruitment efforts and marketing opportunities occur outside traditional business hours, this role may require occasional evening and weekend availability.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, telling meaningful stories, creating engaging content and contributing to a mission-driven organization that makes a difference in people’s lives.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience creating social media, video or marketing content for organizations or businesses
- Strong photography and videography skills
- Experience editing short-form and long-form video content
- Strong storytelling and visual communication abilities
- Experience creating engaging content for social media and digital platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfort working independently while also collaborating across departments
Technical Skills
Experience with some or all of the following preferred:
- Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop and InDesign
- Canva and other content creation tools
- AI tools including ChatGPT and generative AI platforms
- Social media scheduling and publishing tools
- Basic photography, lighting, audio and video equipment
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates should provide a portfolio or examples of work demonstrating:
- Photography and videography
- Video editing
- Storytelling ability
- Social media or digital content creation
- Brand consistency and creative execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare, human services or mission-driven organizations
- Experience working in or around the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) community
- Experience capturing authentic, people-centered content in community settings
- Experience covering live events, employee culture content or recruitment marketing

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling (Primary Focus)
- Capture high-quality photography and videography across Heart to Heart programs, homes, events and community activities
- Create engaging short-form and long-form video content for recruitment, service awareness, employee engagement and brand storytelling
- Edit and optimize video, photography and multimedia content for platform-specific performance
- Capture authentic mission-driven content including:
o Employee spotlights
o Recruitment and hiring content
o Community and residential content
o Event coverage
o Educational/free knowledge content
o Testimonials and interview-style content
o Day-in-the-life content
o Behind-the-scenes storytelling
o Employee appreciation and culture content
o Service line awareness content
- Assist with coverage of community events, employee recognition activities, open houses, hiring events and organizational initiatives, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Organize and maintain content libraries, footage and digital assets for future use
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify meaningful stories and content opportunities
Marketing Execution & Production Support
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns tied to recruitment, service line growth, employee engagement and brand awareness
- Assist in content production for social media, email marketing, website updates and campaign initiatives
- Support marketing requests, creative deliverables and organizational initiatives as assigned
- Assist with campaign coordination, project follow-through and marketing execution
- Help ensure timely turnaround of content and marketing deliverables
- Support internal communications, organizational storytelling and employee engagement initiatives
Social Media Support
- Support Heart to Heart’s social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Assist with content preparation, scheduling and publishing under the direction of the Social Media Strategist
- Create platform-ready content aligned with content calendars and campaign goals
- Assist in maintaining consistent posting cadence and brand consistency across platforms
- Help monitor engagement and identify content opportunities
- Provide support for social continuity and execution during periods of increased need, including maternity leave coverage
Recruitment & Employer Brand Support
- Create content that supports recruitment marketing and employer branding efforts
- Capture employee stories, testimonials, workplace culture and meaningful staff experiences
- Support recruitment campaigns, hiring events and hiring-related content initiatives
- Help communicate what makes Heart to Heart a meaningful place to work
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Recruitment, Operations, Training and Leadership teams to support organizational priorities
- Partner with program leadership and staff to identify compelling stories and opportunities for content capture
- Assist in bringing organizational initiatives to life through authentic storytelling and visual communication
On-Site Content Creation
Travel throughout New Jersey and the Philadelphia region for:
- Photography and video shoots
- Event coverage
- Recruitment and hiring events
- Residential, day and community-based content collection
- Employee recognition and culture events
- Community outings and organizational initiatives
