Content Creator
About the role
We're looking for an in-house Content Creator to bring the visual world of Cutter & Squidge to life across our social channels and digital presence.
This is a "team of one" content production role, reporting directly to our CEO and Co-Founder, who owns the overarching marketing strategy. Your job is high-quality execution: taking that vision and turning it into content that stops the scroll and builds real connection. That means short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels, but also static posts, carousels, LinkedIn content, evergreen assets, and seasonal campaigns. Essentially, if it's digitally shot or filmed and isn't a professional photoshoot, it's yours.
You'll spend real time on-site at our Soho shop and Brentford production kitchen, capturing behind-the-scenes footage, baking processes, and product moments, all on an iPhone. (No need to bring your own kit. We'll provide a dedicated iPhone, external microphones, and portable setups for this role.)
It's a highly collaborative role. You'll work closely with our New Product Development team to plan content around upcoming flavour launches, and with our Design Associate to keep video and graphic assets cohesive. You'll also own the scheduling, daily posting, and community engagement that keeps our brand showing up consistently and with personality.
What you'll be doing
- Filming on-site at our Soho and Brentford locations: behind-the-scenes content, baking processes, and crafted product scenarios, all shot on iPhone.
- Editing and producing short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels, as well as static posts, carousels, and platform-appropriate content across all our social channels including LinkedIn.
- Producing evergreen content and contributing to seasonal campaigns.
- Coordinating content around NPD flavour launches in partnership with the product team.
- Working with our Design Associate to align photography and video with graphic assets and brand guidelines.
- Owning scheduling, daily posting, and initial community engagement across all platforms.
- Acting as the point of contact for brand collaborators, managing incoming asset clips and ensuring they meet our visual standards.
About you
You're a self-starter with a genuine eye for detail and real pride in your output. You've worked directly inside a food, beverage, or lifestyle brand and you know how to make food look mouth-watering on a mobile screen without needing a film crew or a lighting rig.
You're as comfortable shooting a punchy Reel as you are putting together a considered carousel or mapping out a seasonal content calendar. You understand that different platforms need different thinking, and you know how to adapt without losing the brand's voice in the process.
Our best content is deliberately raw, platform-native, and authentic to the real, busy life of the brand. But "casual and lo-fi" doesn't mean careless. You're the kind of person who makes sure the hook lands, the pacing is tight, and the story holds, even when the final aesthetic is intentionally rough around the edges.
Behind the scenes, you're organised, disciplined, and structured. Once briefed by the CEO, you can plan your own shoot days across our two sites, manage your editing timeline, and deliver finished assets with minimal hand-holding.
You'll be highly proficient in CapCut for mobile-first editing and confident across the Adobe suite. And you're a genuine lover of food, baking, and the craft behind it. You understand that great content builds a community, not just a view count.
