Content Writer (Technical)
Job Summary
The Content writer is responsible for developing high-quality, on-brand content that strengthens the company’s brand presence across digital, print, and internal platforms. This role focuses on email marketing, website content management, brand collateral, case studies, and knowledge-based documentation, while also supporting marketing and business development initiatives. The position requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
1. Email Marketing
- Develop and deliver four (4) high-quality email marketing content pieces per month aligned with brand tone, messaging, and campaign objectives.
- Ensure emails are clear, engaging, and consistent with brand standards.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support campaign goals.
2. Website Content Management
- Perform weekly content updates on the website, including the product section, news section, and relevant sub-sections.
- Ensure all website content is clear, accurate, and SEO-optimized.
- Monitor content performance and submit a monthly website content update report for tracking and evaluation.
3. Company Catalogue
- Create compelling, well-structured content for the company brand catalogue.
- Ensure all catalogue content aligns with approved branding guidelines and messaging strategy.
- Support revisions and finalization, with the published catalogue serving as a key reference for performance evaluation.
4. Case Studies and Client Testimonials
- Interview internal stakeholders and/or clients to develop case studies that highlight business impact and success stories.
- Craft testimonial content in various formats, including short quotes and detailed success narratives, for marketing use.
- Write supporting content such as scripts, reports, and social media copy as required.
- Assist during company events by providing real-time content and copy support.
- Oversee and manage the proofreading process for all marketing collateral to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality.
- Edit and refine content across platforms to maintain brand voice, grammar, and messaging standards.
5. Knowledge Base and Documentation
- Develop internal guides, FAQs, and how-to documentation to support client onboarding and internal training.
- Work closely with support and product teams to translate technical concepts into user-friendly, easy-to-understand content.
- Ensure documentation remains up-to-date and aligned with product and service offerings.
6. Marketing Support Tasks
- Write marketing-related scripts, reports, and social media content as needed.
- Provide content support during company events, including real-time copy requirements.
- Support business development efforts by writing proposals, product briefs, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Contribute to internal newsletters and culture-related content to enhance employee engagement and internal communication.
- Assist in the completion and refinement of customer survey content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience in content marketing, branding, or digital marketing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
