Position Summary
We are seeking an organized, professional, and proactive Cooperative Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential cooperative community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills, with the ability to effectively serve residents, work with the Board of Directors, and manage community operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the cooperative community.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and Board members.
- Coordinate maintenance projects, repairs, and contractor services.
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and assessment collections.
- Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare meeting agendas, notices, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and resident files.
- Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Oversee community inspections and ensure property standards are maintained.
Qualifications
- Previous property management, cooperative management, HOA management, or related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with residents and Board members.
- Knowledge of cooperative housing operations is a plus.
