About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Digital Assets Management professional who is a master of social media and PR strategy. This hybrid role is crucial to the success of our entire roster of talent and brand initiatives. You will be responsible for not only managing the day-to-day social media presence but also for strategically leveraging our extensive library of digital assets (music, videos, photos, interviews, etc.) to drive brand growth and achieve our ambitious business goals. You will be a key player in the campaigns for Tito Da Fire and other brands & talents under G2M Creatives and Grindiin Records.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Assets Management & Strategy:
- Asset Library Management: Organize, catalog, and maintain the company’s digital assets, including music, unreleased tracks, master recordings, high- resolution photography, video footage, and press materials for all artists and brands.
- Content Repurposing: Strategically repurpose long-form content (e.g., Tito Da Fire’s podcasts and interviews) into compelling, platform-specific short-form video clips (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) to maximize reach and engagement.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital assets and communications adhere to the unique brand guidelines of each artist and brand under G2M Creatives and Grindiin Records.
- Rights & Permissions: Manage and track usage rights, metadata, and licensing information for all digital assets to ensure compliance and prevent unauthorized use.
Social Media Management & Content Creation:
- Campaign Development: Develop and execute multi-platform social media campaigns for new music releases, tour announcements, media projects, and merchandise launches. For Tito Da Fire, this includes promoting his album “MAI – Making of an ICon,” singles like “I Rise Up” and “Carry Go,” and his upcoming podcasts.
- Content Calendar: Create and manage a comprehensive social media schedule, ensuring a consistent and strategic posting cadence for all managed accounts. This includes scheduling daily posts, alternating between different content types (music, podcast, behind-the-scenes).
- Video Editing (ESSENTIAL): Possess expert-level proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to create visually stunning and high-impact content for social media. This is a core function of the role.
- Community Management: Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a strong, loyal community around our artists and brands.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all social media platforms. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders to inform future strategies.
Public Relations & Media Strategy:
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, music bloggers, digital creators, radio hosts, and other media professionals to secure press coverage and interviews for our artists.
- Press & Outreach: Draft and distribute impactful press releases and media kits. Proactively pitch stories and features to national and international media outlets.
- Crisis Management: Assist in developing and executing communication plans to manage and mitigate potential negative press or brand-related issues.
- Influencer & Brand Partnerships: Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and brands for collaborative opportunities that align with our artists’ career goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, PR, and/or digital marketing, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the music or entertainment industry
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Experience with digital asset management (DAM) systems is a significant advantage.
- Creative & Strategic Mindset: A self-starter with a proven ability to think both creatively and analytically. You can conceptualize a campaign and also track its performance with data.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X), their algorithms, and content best practices.
- Multi-tasking: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, artists, and brand campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Knowledge: A passion for music and a keen understanding of the global music landscape, including awards processes like the Grammys.
