DIGITAL BRAND ENGAGEMENT & SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

A rapidly growing, scientifically advanced luxury skincare brand is seeking a creative, strategically minded, and highly organized Assistant Manager, Brand Engagement to join our marketing team. This is a full-time, 1-year contract role focused on executing an integrated communications strategy across social media management, strategic influencer partnerships, and high-impact PR activations.
Working closely with the Brand Engagement Lead, you will ensure that all social, influencer, and media activities are seamlessly aligned with overall brand goals to reinforce our luxury positioning and scientific authority. The ideal professional brings a deep understanding of the modern PR landscape, multi-platform social media algorithms, and the premium beauty or clinical skincare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce engaging, high-quality visual content (photos, videos, graphics) across current platforms (Instagram) and lead expansion into emerging channels (TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) tailored to a high-end medical/scientific audience.
- Act as the primary, day-to-day point of contact for external social media and influencer agencies. Provide strategic direction, brief creative projects, and ensure all agency-produced work meets strict luxury standards and scientific accuracy.
- Own and maintain the master social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, product launch timelines, and a consistent, high-end content flow.
- Partner with the internal community team to ensure best-in-class online engagement. Lead social listening activities for new product launches to gather consumer feedback, competitive insights, and optimize product messaging.
- Partner with leadership to manage PR agency requests, sampling initiatives, and media outreach. Oversee influencer product seeding campaigns from partner identification through to tracking and analyzing ROI.
- Supervise and mentor the department's Marketing Trainee, providing clear direction, feedback, and professional development support regarding seeding initiatives and performance reporting.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track social metrics, and compile sophisticated monthly performance reports to measure campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience managing social media, PR activations, or digital brand engagement, ideally within the premium skincare, clinical beauty, or luxury consumer goods sector.
- Deep, tactical knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube, alongside social media management and analytics tools.
- Exceptional ability to create visually appealing content that respects luxury brand guidelines while remaining highly detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple timelines.
- Proven experience briefing and managing external creative/PR agencies and interfacing comfortably with cross-functional corporate teams.
