Digital Marketing Executive
Location: Henllan, Ceredigion, SA44 5TD
Contract: Part-time, Temporary contract May 2026-September 2026, with potential to extend depending on the business' needs.
Hours: We are flexible with the exact hours though anticipate 16-24 hours being the range we would need for this role.
Days: Hours to be completed on any of Tues/Wed/Sat/Sun, exact days can be negotiated.
Pay: National Minimum Wage, we may be able to offer more for someone with a proven record of increasing sales revenue through marketing.
Start Date: ASAP May 2026
About us:
We are a small plant nursery and garden centre in the village of Henllan, Ceredigion. Originally specializing in the edible garden, we have expanded our stock to include a wide variety of ornamental plants and garden supplies. Our main trade is through various online channels, though we are also expanding our on-site storefront every year.
About the job:
We are looking for an Office/Marketing Administrator to join our growing team. We require extra assistance with our general office work but also have a high desire to increase our marketing strategies. You will be responsible for generating content on various social media platforms and managing our email marketing campaigns. As a small team we need enthusiastic people who are willing to help with all aspects of the business. Tasks therefore may occasionally include work around the nursery such as packing orders, assisting on-site customers, and plant care.
The role will include:
- Marketing & Social Media - creating engaging content and maintaining a consistent presence
- Responding to customer queries via email, online messaging & phone
- Working as part of a fast-paced team at our onsite nursery
- Plant research for product creation on our website
- Helping on-site customers
Our ideal candidate will be:
- Highly experienced with social media/marketing
- Comfortable with using new technology systems
- Have an eye for graphic design
- Able to communicate effectively
- Hard working, diligent and reliable
- Able to work alone and remain on task
- Organised and systematic in their work
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills and knowledge
- Passionate about plants and gardening
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Willing to work flexibly within their role
Your knowledge and skills:
- Experience with social media and marketing is essential
- A high level of competence with spelling and grammar is essential
- Great communication is highly desirable
- Competence and confidence with using IT systems is highly desirable
- Experience with horticulture or an interest in plants and willingness to learn is desirable
- The ability to speak Welsh is not required for this position though would be beneficial
- High standards and quality in all processes is essential
