Digital Marketing Specialist
The Digital Specialist is responsible for the execution and optimisation of digital marketing programs across web, social, and CRM channels. This role translates brand and campaign strategies into high-performing digital executions, delivering measurable outcomes across the full customer journey from awareness through to conversion and retention.
The role partners closely with brand, sales, and external partners to ensure best-in-class digital capability, strong ROI, and continuous optimisation of digital touchpoints.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Campaign Execution & Optimisation
- Execute end-to-end digital campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels
- Optimise campaign performance across the funnel (awareness → consideration → conversion)
- Track and report on campaign performance, delivering actionable insights and recommendations
- Align digital campaigns to brand, commercial and category objectives
Web & Digital Experience Management
- Manage and update websites via CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress or equivalent)
- Ensure strong UX/UI and seamless customer journey across digital platforms
- Support implementation of SEO and SEM best practices
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements
Social Media & Content Management
- Manage social media platforms including Meta and LinkedIn
- Plan, execute and optimise social media campaigns and always-on content
- Develop and manage content calendars across brands and campaigns
- Partner with agencies/influencers to deliver engaging content and grow audience reach
- Measure and report on social performance including engagement, growth and ROI
Content Development & Digital Asset Creation
- Develop and execute digital content including written, video and visual assets
- Collaborate with designers and agencies to deliver high-quality creative outputs
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
CRM & Email Marketing
- Execute email marketing campaigns and automation programs
- Manage segmentation, customer lifecycle journeys and lead nurturing workflows
- Track campaign performance and optimise for conversion and engagement
- Ensure integration between CRM and broader digital channels
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to track performance across digital touchpoints
- Provide regular reporting on campaigns, website and channel effectiveness
- Translate data into insights to inform optimisation and future planning
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Manage multiple digital campaigns and priorities concurrently
- Coordinate with internal teams including brand, sales and category
- Work with external agencies, developers and suppliers to deliver projects on time
- Maintain strong communication and stakeholder alignment across projects
Health & Safety
- Support and maintain a safe working environment in line with company policies
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and practices

Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in commerce/business discipline
Experience
