Event Content Marketing Specialist
Overview
Adeo InterActive is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Marketing Specialist to support the marketing strategy for a major innovation-focused event. This role will be responsible for creating and managing high-quality content across social media, email newsletters, and digital marketing channels.
Because this event is in its inaugural year, the ideal candidate will be comfortable building content from the ground up. This person should be able to take event goals, speaker announcements, partner updates, programming themes, and general brand direction and turn them into engaging promotional content that builds awareness, credibility, and excitement.
This is a strong fit for someone who is both creative and organized, with experience creating static social media graphics, carousel posts, short-form promotional videos, newsletters, and audience engagement campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the event’s digital marketing efforts, including:
- Creating static social media posts, carousel posts, and other promotional graphics aligned with the event brand
- Developing short-form marketing and promotional videos for use across social platforms, email, and other digital channels
- Writing and designing email newsletters that promote event updates, speakers, partners, sponsors, registration, and programming
- Building content calendars and helping maintain a consistent publishing schedule across platforms
- Increasing engagement across social media channels through creative, timely, and audience-relevant content
- Repurposing event information into multiple content formats, including social posts, email features, video scripts, captions, and promotional blurbs
- Supporting speaker, sponsor, partner, and stakeholder promotion through coordinated content campaigns
- Helping establish the voice, look, and feel of marketing content for a first-year event
- Tracking basic content performance and making recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions
- Coordinating with internal team members to gather information, assets, approvals, and deadlines
- Maintaining organized files, templates, content drafts, and creative assets
- Staying aware of social media and digital marketing trends that may be useful for event promotion
Qualifications
- Experience in content marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing skills, especially for captions, newsletters, promotional copy, and short-form digital content
- Experience creating social media graphics, carousel posts, and simple branded visual assets
- Experience creating or editing short-form video content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar channels
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Descript, Opus Clip, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar marketing platforms
- Ability to take limited source material and turn it into polished, compelling content
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple pieces of content at different stages of development
- Comfort working with a new brand, event, or campaign that is still evolving
- Good judgment around professional tone, brand alignment, and audience relevance
- Ability to receive feedback and make revisions quickly and thoughtfully
- Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, business, events, or global collaboration is a plus
- Prior experience marketing events, conferences, startups, or professional programs is helpful but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
