Freelance Content Creator
Overview
We are looking for a creative and reliable Freelance Content Creator to help us produce engaging photo and video content for our food, beverage, and lifestyle brands across social media platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who understands social media, has a strong eye for visuals, and can work with us to plan and capture content based on ongoing marketing needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute on-site content shoots based on brand and campaign needs
- Visit locations to capture photos, videos, behind-the-scenes moments, and lifestyle content
- Create short-form content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, RedNote, and other platforms
- Work with the team to organize shoot concepts, shot lists, and content priorities
- Coordinate with on-site staff during shoots when needed
- Stay aware of current social media trends and content formats
- Deliver raw content in a timely and organized manner
- Basic editing is a plus, but not required
Requirements
- Strong sense of photography, videography, framing, and visual storytelling
- Experience creating social media content is preferred
- Comfortable shooting content in restaurant, café, retail, or lifestyle environments
- Able to work independently while following brand direction
- Good communication skills and comfortable coordinating with team members
- Reliable transportation is preferred
- Portfolio, social media samples, or previous content work required
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
Work Location
This is a freelance role with remote work for planning and coordination. On-site content shoots as needed, primarily within the Greater Toronto Area
