Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and highly organized Freelance Content Manager to lead and produce engaging digital content across multiple social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone with strong storytelling instincts, advanced video editing skills, and a solid understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and content strategy.
Applicants must include a portfolio of past content work, social media accounts, or sample projects with their resume.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage engaging content for major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Plan, develop, and execute content strategies aligned with brand goals and target audiences
- Research industry trends, viral topics, and competitor content to generate creative ideas
- Oversee and coordinate with a team of video editors to ensure consistent quality and branding
- Edit, review, and optimize content before publishing
- Understand platform algorithms, hashtag strategies, audience behavior, and engagement optimization
- Assist with content scheduling and publishing across platforms
- Stay current with social media trends, AI tools, and digital marketing best practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or a similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing past content work, video edits, campaigns, or social media growth
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflow and content production efficiency
- Knowledge of current social media trends and short-form video content
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently
- Experience in lifestyle, real estate, marketing, or e-commerce content is an asset
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing social media growth and analytics
- Knowledge of current social media algorithms and platform trends
- Experience creating content related to real estate, lifestyle, branding, or personal marketing is an asset
