Front Desk and Social Media Specialist
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and creative Front Desk & Social Media Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, managing social media, and contributing to a positive client experience. The successful candidate will be first point of contact for our clients while helping to strengthen our online presence through content creation and digital marketing.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and through online communication channels.
- Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and client inquiries using our booking system.
- Respond to emails, phone calls, text messages, and social media messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all information is updated as needed.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Capture photos and videos of services, products, events, and behind-the-scenes activities for marketing purposes.
- Edit photos and videos using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar software.
- Produce engaging short-form video content including Reels, Stories, promotional videos, client testimonials, and educational content.
- Monitor social media trends and develop creative ideas to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, contests, and special events.
- Promote salon, spa, wellness, and astrology services, as well as retail products with the help of Google SEO through our website.
- Support retail sales by recommending products and services that meet client needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist the management team with administrative duties and day-to-day operations as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, administration, social media management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google SEO
- Proficiency in video editing and content creation using tools such as Canva, CapCut, InShot, Adobe Express, or similar applications.
- Ability to create engaging photo and video content that aligns with the brand's image and goals.
- Experience in the beauty, wellness, spa, or salon industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of social media marketing trends and best practices is preferred.
- Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen preferred.
