Growth & Partnership Manager
WE ARE HIRING: GROWTH & PARTNERSHIP MANAGER
location: Lagos Island, Nigeria
Compensation: ₦400,000 – ₦600,000 monthly
We are seeking a commercially driven growth & partnership Manager with a strong track record in securing high value sponsorships and managing large scale, high impact events across international markets.
This is not a coordination role, this is a revenue and influence role. You will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, delivering world class event experiences, and positioning our platforms as globally relevant.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will lead the planning, partnership acquisition, and execution of flagship experiences including Global Business Mixers and the Global Entrepreneurship Festival recognized as one of the world’s largest entrepreneurship gatherings.
Your focus is clear: build partnerships, close deals, and deliver exceptional events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sponsorship & Partnership Acquisition
* Identify, approach, and secure local and international sponsors and partners
* Lead negotiations and close high value sponsorship deals (short-term & long-term)
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with global brands, institutions, and ecosystem players
* Develop compelling sponsorship decks and value propositions that convert
2. Event Strategy & Production
Plan and execute large-scale events
Oversee event production including vendors, logistics, experience design, and on-ground coordination
Ensure events meet global standards in quality, engagement, and brand positioning
Manage timelines and resource allocation effectively
3. Platform Monetization
Drive event revenue through exhibition booth sales, speaker fees, merchandising, franchising, and other commercial opportunities
Track performance metrics and optimize profitability
4. Stakeholder & Experience Management
Manage relationships with partners, sponsors, and key stakeholders
Ensure seamless experience delivery for attendees, partners, and VIPs
Represent the organization in high-level meetings and negotiations.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Fund Acquisition Manager, Sponsorship & Partnership Lead, or Business Development Head
Strong track record of onboarding and working closely with global and local brands, institutions, corporates, NGOs, Foundations etc.
Experience as an event producer, director, project manager, or high-valued client manager for large-scale, high-profile exclusive events
Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and closing skills
Commercial mindset with clear revenue ownership experience
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong network across corporate, startup, government, or global ecosystems is a major advantage.
