Jewels Hotel - Executive, Marketing
The Hotel Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing activities to promote the hotel’s rooms, facilities, dining outlets, events, and brand awareness. The role focuses on driving room sales, increasing revenue, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting business growth through both online and offline marketing initiatives.
Responsibility
Marketing & Promotion
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising activities for rooms, F&B outlets, banquet events, and hotel facilities.
- Coordinate seasonal promotions, festive packages, and special offers to increase business revenue.
- Prepare marketing content, promotional materials, brochures, posters, and advertisements.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and update the hotel’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor online reviews and respond professionally to guest feedback on OTA platforms and social media channels.
- Coordinate digital advertising campaigns, email marketing, and online promotions.
- Ensure hotel website information, promotions, and visuals are updated regularly.
Sales Support & Business Development
- Support the Sales Team in generating leads and corporate business opportunities.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with corporate companies, travel agents, event planners, schools, and government agencies.
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and market trends.
- Participate in sales calls, networking events, roadshows, and promotional activities when required.
Branding & Public Relations
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications and promotional materials.
- Coordinate media coverage, photography, and publicity activities for hotel events and promotions.
- Build positive relationships with media representatives, influencers, and business partners.
- Assist in organizing hotel events, CSR activities, exhibitions, and community engagement programs.
Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare monthly marketing activity reports, campaign performance analysis, and social media reports.
- Monitor marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective promotional activities.
- Coordinate with designers, printers, suppliers, and external agencies for marketing materials and campaigns.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of marketing records, contracts, and promotional materials.
General Responsibilities
- Work closely with Front Office, F&B, Banquet, and Operations teams to support hotel business objectives.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with hotel policies and brand standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years working experience in marketing, hospitality, hotel industry, or related field is an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and creative skills are encouraged to apply.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of social media management and digital marketing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google platforms.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe software is an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Positive working attitude, team player, and willing to learn.
- Willing to work during weekends, public holidays, or hotel events when required.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel for sales or marketing activities if necessary.
