Junior Content Creator - Founding Team
Junior Content Creator (Cebu, In-Office)
Short-form video · Social media · Reporting to our Creative Lead
Zalio is building the AI operating system for SMBs — and our gym, Momentum Health + Fitness, is our testing ground in Australia. We're hiring a Junior Content Creator in Cebu to join our Creative Lead, Clint, and help us build both brands.
This is a role for someone early in their career who's hungry to learn, loves short-form video, and wants to grow alongside a small team that's just getting started. You don't need years of experience. You need taste, attitude, and the willingness to show up every day and improve.
You'll work directly under our Creative Lead — who'll teach you the craft, mentor you on the platforms, and give you real shoots to run. Your job is to learn fast, ship a lot, and grow into a senior creative role over time.
Here's how we think about content: We see ourselves as a media company that happens to sell AI products. That means content isn't a side function — it's central to the business. The people on this team aren't supporting marketing. They're building the engine that builds the company.
If you're already filming your life, editing in CapCut on the way home, and watching TikTok with the sound off to figure out why a video works — we want to talk.
What you'll actually do
Learn the craft alongside Clint:
- Shoot short-form video for Instagram and TikTok — Cebu office content, team culture, behind-the-scenes from the studio.
- Be on camera when the moment calls for it — talking head, walk-and-talks around the office, reactions, team moments. (Zack stays the face of Zalio externally, Momentum's gym content is shot in Australia. Your lane is the Cebu studio.)
- Edit in CapCut, Premiere, or whatever tool gets the cut done.
- Cut and assemble content shot by others — Zack's founder content from Australia, Momentum gym footage, raw recordings from team members.
- Get feedback from Clint daily. Apply it. Get better fast.
Read the platforms like a native:
- Spot trends on Monday, shoot Tuesday, post Wednesday. We move fast.
- Learn what works on TikTok vs. Instagram — and adapt, never copy-paste between them.
- Track your numbers. If a format works, double down. If it flops, cut it.
Grow into more responsibility:
- Start by supporting Clint on shoots, edits, and the daily content calendar.
- Over time, take ownership of your own shoots, your own segments, your own creative ideas.
- The faster you grow, the more we hand you. There's no fixed pace — it's set by what you can carry.
The ceiling on this role
There isn't one, there's unlimited upside.
You're joining early. The people who join now define the culture and the senior team later.
- No cap on promotions. If you outgrow the role, the role grows with you. Senior Content Creator. Content Lead. Whatever the right title is for what you've become.
- No cap on pay rises. Performance moves the number. If you're outproducing your salary band, we move you up — we don't wait for an annual review cycle.
- Equity on the table. After 6 months, the right person gets a release of equity in Zalio — real ownership, not a pat on the back.
This is a role with a floor, not a ceiling. The floor is a fair salary and a creative lead who'll mentor you. The ceiling is whatever you can build.
What you'll get
Compensation structure:
- Probation period — you join as a full-time contractor on a 6-month probation. Competitive Cebu market salary for a junior role.
- At 6 months — switched to employee status with an equity release for the right person.
Beyond the cash:
- A real mentor. Clint runs creative. You learn directly from him — daily feedback, real shoots, real campaigns. Most junior roles don't come with this.
- A front-row seat to AI. You'll work with the same AI tools the engineering team uses — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, custom-built agents. It'll change how you think about content forever.
- Real creative freedom. No 14-step approval chains. If it's good, it goes.
- The room where it happens. Cebu studio, in-office, alongside the founding team.
What we're looking for
You're probably a fit if you:
- Have shot, edited, and posted short-form video — for a brand, a creator, yourself, or a side project. Even small portfolios count if the eye is there.
- Are natural on camera, or willing to learn fast. No stiffness, no over-rehearsed energy.
- Know your way around CapCut, InShot, or any video editor well enough that editing isn't the bottleneck.
- Can explain why a video works — hook, pacing, format — not just that it does.
- Spend real time on Instagram and TikTok. You don't just consume — you study.
- Speak and write English well enough to write captions, hooks, and CTAs that don't feel translated.
- Are curious about AI tools and excited (not threatened) by working with them daily.
- Want to grow into a senior creative role over the next 1–2 years.
You don't need:
- A marketing degree.
- A huge personal following.
- Years of agency experience.
- A polished resume.
We pick attitude over credentials.
How to apply
Send us:
- A short cover letter — why this role suits you, what you'd shoot in your first week if we hired you, and what you want to be doing in 2 years.
- Your portfolio — accounts you've worked on, content you've created, or links to short-form video you've made (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, anywhere). Personal projects are 100% fine.
- Your resume — don't stress if there's not much on it. We care about the work, not the format.
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
