JJ Malibu, one of the fastest-growing LGBTQ+ apparel brands in North America, is looking for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our Social Media & Influencer team at our new office in Newmarket, Ontario.

What You’ll Do:

Build brand awareness and engagement across our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.)
Research, reach out to, and manage relationships with influencers and athletes
Interact with customers online and assist with product/service-related inquiries
Develop original and engaging content tailored to our community
Assist with planning and coordinating photoshoots with photographers, models, and partner agencies
Track social media performance and provide insights to optimize campaigns

What We’re Looking For:

Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and aligned with our brand values
Currently pursuing (or completed) post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
Knowledge of fashion, lifestyle, or LGBTQ+ industries is an asset
Spanish or Portuguese fluency is a plus!

Job Details:

6 months contract with possibility to renew as full time
Hybrid/On-site in Newmarket, Ontario

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
