JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the casino and hotel public areas, including casino floor, hotel lobby, restaurants, spa and back of house areas at the property. Responsible for maintaining a smooth operation, maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, maximizing labor efficiency; maintaining budgeted labor costs and guaranteeing safe working conditions.
Starting Rate $60,000.00- $65,000.00
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the casino and hotel public areas, including casino floor, hotel lobby, restaurants, spa and back of house areas at the property
- Manages the staffing, planning and organization of the Environmental Services department for the property.
- Responsible for the efficient scheduling of EVS personnel on all shifts
- Responsible for ensuring administrative functions are completed in accordance to policy, including counseling, commendations, disciplinary actions, terminations, grievance hearings, etc.
- Assist with development of short-term and long-range planning goals
- Assist with the development and implementation of training programs
- Administer and communicate policies and procedures to ensure employee performance standards are maintained
- Manages all work projects, including redecorating and heavy cleaning, ensuring that high levels of productivity are maintained and completion schedules are met
- Conduct periodic random inspections of facility to ensure standards are being upheld; recommend changes to process as necessary
- Ensures all chemicals utilized are in compliance with OSHA
- Ensures equipment is routinely tested and serviced as appropriate
- Work proactively in conjunction with the Facilities department to correct any potential guest service issues

- Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
