The role
We are looking for a proactive and digitally savvy Marketing & Communications Executive to join our fast-paced team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in both traditional and digital marketing, who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced behaviour change agency environment and bring their creative spark to behaviour change social marketing campaigns.
You’ll also support creative campaigns reaching both B2C and B2B audiences, maximising reach for our clients and ICE.

You will work as part of a fast paced, agile, creative organisation. You will be expected to drive and have access to a car. You will also be expected to travel to other ICE offices from time to time.
Salary range: £26,227.50 - £30,000 per annum.

Key elements of the day-to-day role:
The role will involve:
- Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels, targeting B2C and B2B audiences.
- Develop and manage content for websites, blogs, email newsletters, and social media platforms
- Implement and optimise SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website traffic
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (SEM) across display, search, and social platforms
- Analyse campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Meta Business Suite
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver creative assets and campaign materials
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing strategies
- Support event planning, promotional activities, and PR initiatives. Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely execution of campaigns
- Act at all times within the Company’s rules, policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
- Observe and comply with employees’ obligations under Health and Safety policy and law.

Essential existing skills/experience
- Apprenticeship or degree level qualifications in Marketing, Digital Media,
- Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in a marketing or digital marketing role
- Experience of working in agency / multi-client account environments
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and GEO-targeting strategies
- Experience with digital marketing tools such as:
- Google Ads & Google Analytics
- Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram)
- Mailchimp or similar email platforms
- WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Knowledge of marketing trends and the appeitite to stay up to date with sector
- changes and technology/trend advancements
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow
- Comfortable with a hybrid working model (a mix of office and home-based).
- Experience in using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other digital platforms.
