Marketing Coordinator
Marketing Coordinator (30 hours/week | Weekends Required)
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join our team at one of Central Alberta’s year round indoor Farmers' Market.
This is not your typical desk job. You’ll help shape the voice, vibe, and visibility of our brand through engaging content, digital campaigns, events, and community-driven marketing initiatives. If you love storytelling, social media, live events, and creating memorable experiences — this role is for you.
This position is approximately 30 hours per week, with mandatory availability Friday through Sunday, as those are our busiest and most exciting days on-site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns across social media, email, and digital advertising platforms.
- Manage and grow our social media presence through engaging content creation, scheduling, and community interaction.
- Create eye-catching graphics and marketing materials using Canva Pro and other design tools.
- Support digital marketing initiatives including META advertising, Google Ads, SEO, and email campaigns.
- Coordinate with our events team to help promote and execute unique experiences and events that elevate our brand across Central Alberta.
- Capture, edit, and prepare content that authentically represents our brand, products, vendors, and customer experience.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Stay current with marketing trends, social platform updates, and creative campaign ideas.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and META advertising.
- Experience with content creation, basic graphic design, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and customer engagement campaigns.
- Someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Weekend availability is essential.
