We are seeking an experienced candidate in our Thornton, Colorado office. We also have office locations in Grand Junction, CO and Albuquerque, NM.

Position Overview
Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced—and friendly—financial planning office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. This position includes, but is not limited to, client communication and engagement, social media management, direct marketing, event marketing and website content management. The Marketing Specialist will provide creative material, develop content and assist with data verification and placement of advertising deliverables. Responsibilities and Time Allocation – Will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.
Duties
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement annual marketing plans to meet client acquisition goals
- Work with the Marketing Manager to drive community outreach program
- Coordinate all aspects of client appreciation and prospecting events, including: - Sourcing venue, securing speaker/topic, creating invitations, managing RSVP’s, compliance, post event attendee follow-up
- Learn and implement Client Referral Program
- Procure speaking engagements for advisors
- Schedule prospect meetings
- Manage advisor and team websites
- Manage social media accounts
- Coordinate with clients and prospects
- Generate referrals through networking
- Coordinate seminars and events
- Manage business development data and systems
- Execute business development operations
Required Qualifications
- College degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Teams, Outlook
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
