JOB SUMMARY
The marketing coordinator position is responsible for supervising, implementing, and administering corporate image and property identity programs as they relate to advertising, social media, and perception through editorial, media, and community efforts. This position is responsible for implementing and overseeing promotional activities to ensure that programs and services are consistent with the company's marketing goals.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Oversee the day-to-day office operations of the Marketing department.
- Assist Marketing Manager with the coordination of all casino event projects.
- Oversee citywide event on-call and temporary staffing and scheduling against established event calendar.
- Assist and coordinate various property/marketing functions assigned.
- Presentation creation and meeting preparation as needed.
- Maintain and develop relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
- Provide assistance to our internal and external customers in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive materials.
- Must comply with Responsible Gaming guidelines outlined by Caesars Entertainment and complete annual refresher modules.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Two years previous Casino, Marketing, or Special Event experience required.
- Ability to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Heavy clerical and guest service level experience is a must.
- Computer literate with software systems to include IMB, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Adobe, APS and AS400 systems.
- Must be flexible to work any day of the week and any shift and long hours when necessary.
- Minimum 21 years of age and be able to obtain a Virginia Gaming License.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
- Fast-paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
- Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner.
