The Opportunity
We are seeking a Marketing Intern to support the day-to-day marketing activities of our growing HR consulting firm. This role is ideal for a creative, organized, and tech-savvy individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, branding, and communications within a professional services environment.
The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with strong written communication skills and a passion for marketing and social media. They are proactive, collaborative, and excited to contribute ideas while learning in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
We are a busy and growing HR consulting practice, and this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys thinking outside the box, takes initiative, and is looking to build practical marketing experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns that support brand awareness and business growth
· Create, schedule, and publish social media content including posts, reels, graphics, newsletters, and blogs using approved branding templates
· Support the creation of HR-focused content for social media, email marketing, and website updates
· Research marketing trends, audience engagement strategies, and content ideas to support ongoing initiatives
· Collaborate with leadership on creative marketing campaigns and promotional strategies
· Monitor and support online engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
· Assist with website updates, content management, and maintaining brand consistency across digital platforms
· Review and proofread marketing materials for grammar, accuracy, and alignment with company branding
· Support the coordination and promotion of webinars, training sessions, networking events, and company initiatives
· Assist with the design and coordination of marketing materials and promotional assets
· Maintain and update online business profiles, directory listings, and marketing databases
· Assist in the creation of proposals and presentations based on client needs, and support new business opportunities with current and potential clients.
· Keep track of client projects and sales activities, update internal CRM information, and prepare reports to help monitor sales progress and client relationships.
· Conduct research to identify potential marketing opportunities, partnerships, and audience growth strategies
· Assist with internal projects, company culture initiatives, and special events as required
· Support ad-hoc marketing and communications projects as assigned
Qualifications:
· Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Mailchimp with strong skills in spreadsheets and presentation tools
· Working knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn; experience with Canva, CapCut, and social scheduling tools is an asset
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong collaboration and research capabilities
· Basic understanding of digital marketing, branding, and content creation
· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
· Creative mindset with attention to detail
· Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field
· Recent/New Grads also welcome to apply!
· 1+ years' experience in marketing considered an asset
