KBA, Inc. is looking for a motivated early-career professional to join our marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how proposals and marketing support drive business success in the A/E/C industry. You’ll support proposal development, help manage marketing materials, and assist with communications initiatives while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas.
It requires the ability to interact and collaborate with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, can perform under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
What You’ll Do
Proposals:
- Assist in the proposal process, including formatting, assembling documents, and gathering content.
- Help maintain organized files and databases (SharePoint or similar systems).
- Support maintenance of marketing materials (resumes, project profiles, photos, etc.)
- Help update resumes and project descriptions to maintain proposal-readiness.
- Assist with social media content, marketing materials, and internal communications
- Support proposal meetings and coordination tasks.
Communications:
- Provide support for newsletters, events, and other communications tasks as needed.
- Provide vacation coverage for the weekly Connection newsletter and other Communications activities.
- Support Communications during busy periods as needed, including event support, coordination, and outreach.
Assist with Special Projects, which could include:
- Specific Project Newsletters/Reports
- Support Corporate documentation, presentation, and reporting needs
- Video Projects: Plan, film, and edit videos for training and marketing needs
Other Duties as Assigned
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
- This position requires authorization to work in the United States both currently and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.
Education and Technical Skills (minimum requirements):
Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience. 2-5 years of experience in A/E/C or Services Marketing/Communication roles preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What we’d love if you had (preferred requirements):
Knowledge and experience with SharePoint are a plus. Working knowledge of graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva) preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The ability to lift 25 pounds, such as boxes of records, is required. The ability to sit at a workstation and perform data entry is required. The ability to walk, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods as may be necessary to access and prepare files is required.
