Marketing Coordinator
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Job description:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining brand excellence for Vivid as the brand expands into Kentucky. In close collaboration with Vivid's award-winning marketing department in Missouri, the Marketing Coordinator must develop a deep understanding of marketing goals, the Kentucky cannabis market and its regulations. The ideal candidate is an ambitious marketer with exceptional organizational skills and an ability to work autonomously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Execution
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and in-store promotions
- Maintain and execute marketing calendars and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of campaigns
- Track campaign performance metrics
- Plan, schedule and execute medical patient drives as frequently as needed.
- Manage promotional materials production from concept through distribution
- Coordinate event planning and execution for product launches, community events, and trade shows
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and grow social media presence across all platforms while ensuring compliance with advertising restrictions
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and copy for digital channels
- Monitor brand mentions and social media interactions and coordinate with sales and dispensary partners to uphold positive customer experiences.
Brand Management & Content Creation
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints
- Create and maintain brand guidelines, templates, and asset libraries
- Coordinate photography and videography for product and promotional content
- Maintain an organized digital asset management system
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and manage relationships with external vendors, including designers, printers, and marketing agencies
- Coordinate with retail locations to support local marketing efforts and promotional activities
- Collaborate with sales team to develop materials that support business development efforts
- Work cross-functionally with operations, compliance, and product teams
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with state cannabis advertising regulations
- Stay current on evolving cannabis marketing restrictions and best practices
- Coordinate with compliance team to review and approve marketing content
- Maintain documentation of marketing compliance procedures
Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics using analytics tools
- Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, social media growth, and marketing ROI
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
- Track marketing budget and manage expenses within allocated resources
QualificationsRequired:
- 2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail, CPG, or regulated industries
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva
- Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience in the cannabis industry or regulated markets
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, social media analytics tools, and email marketing platforms
- Photography and/or videography skills
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
