Marketing & CRM Specialist - eCommerce Retail
About Us
Kleva Brands is a fast-growing product innovation company and leading eCommerce retailer. We specialise in designing, developing, and manufacturing our own household-name product ranges across homewares, kitchenware, and cleaning range. Sold to millions of customers across Australia, our multi-brand portfolio is dedicated to delivering seamless shopping experiences and building lasting customer connections through high-quality products and benefit-driven, lifestyle marketing.
About the Role
We are shifting the paradigm from basic email marketing to sophisticated, database-led customer relationship management. As our CRM Specialist, you won’t just be sending emails; you will own our customer database and orchestrate the entire post-purchase lifecycle.
While email remains our primary engine, you will treat the database as a strategic asset, utilising smart segmentation, automated lifecycle journeys, review networks, and SMS to maximise customer lifetime value (LTV), boost repeat purchase rates, and foster brand loyalty across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Database Management & Integrity: Own the health, hygiene, and structured growth of our customer database, ensuring meticulous data compliance with Australian privacy laws.
- Lifecycle & Automation Strategy: Architect, test, and optimise end-to-end automated flows within Klaviyo (e.g., advanced welcome series, post-purchase education, browse abandonment, and win-back sequences).
- Review Platform Ownership: Actively manage and monitor our customer review platforms to capture user-generated content (UGC), identify customer experience trends, and turn customer feedback into high-converting social proof.
- Multi-Channel Execution: Lead the execution of highly segmented direct-to-consumer communications, seamlessly blending email, SMS marketing, and targeted push touchpoints.
- Campaign Execution & Design Integration: Coordinate the broadcast calendar for brand promotions and online shopping events. Conceptualise and build visually captivating layouts utilizing tools like Photoshop or Canva while maintaining flawless brand consistency.
- A/B Testing & Deep-Dive Analytics: Implement continuous A/B testing frameworks across copy, visual layouts, and send frequencies. Deliver deep-dive weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting LTV, repeat purchase behaviors, and cohort trends.
About You:
- Experience: Minimum 1–2+ years of hands-on experience managing CRM databases, lifecycle marketing, or retention mechanics within a fast-moving e-commerce or retail infrastructure.
- Platform Expertise: Strong working literacy with Klaviyo (or similar marketing automation platforms) and familiarity operating within the Shopify ecosystem.
- Data-Driven Mindset: An analytical thinker who treats email as a data engine rather than just a messaging board, obsessed with cohort tracking, conversion rates, and list optimization.
- Creative Flair: Competent layout and visual asset coordination skills utilizing tools like Photoshop or Canva to ensure premium brand positioning.
- Operational Agility: Highly organized with a proactive approach to juggling distinct multi-brand calendars simultaneously.
- Right to Work: Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
