Dayone is a fast-growing family of food brands, and we’re on the hunt for a Marketing Executive who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make some noise. This is real ownership from day one. No fetching coffee, no sitting on the sidelines. You’ll get your hands on 2 to 3 of our brands and help shape how the world sees them.

We use it to take the grunt work off your plate: drafting first-pass copy, sorting through campaign data, scheduling, research, reporting, the mundane stuff that eats your day. But here’s the key: at Dayone, AI is a tool, never a replacement. The creativity, the taste, the human judgement and the real connection with customers? That’s all you. We want you spending your energy on big ideas and great relationships, not repetitive tasks.
The Role
You’ll drive the day-to-day marketing across multiple food brands, running campaigns that turn heads, build loyalty and shift product. Email, social, print, in-store, you’ll pull every channel together into bold, joined-up campaigns that work as one, using AI to move faster and smarter at every step.
But here’s the heart of it: great marketing isn’t just about reach, it’s about relationships. Our customers are the reason we exist, and you’ll play a huge part in how they experience our brands, from the first scroll past a social post to the moment they pick us off the shelf and come back for more. You’ll think customer-first in everything you do, building the kind of connection that turns one-time buyers into lifelong fans. AI can speed up the how, but the genuine human warmth our customers feel, that comes from you.
You’ll also be the vital link between our brands, the office team and our stores, making sure every promotion lands, stays on-message and actually makes money.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and launching multi-channel campaigns (email, social, leaflet/print and beyond) that customers genuinely love
- Creating engaging videos and photography for social media, and posting regularly to keep our brands active, visible and connected with our audience
- Building genuine customer relationships across every brand, responding to comments and messages and making people feel part of the Dayone family
- Using AI tools to speed up drafting, research, scheduling and reporting, freeing you up for the creative thinking that matters
- Growing our social media presence and sparking real conversations with our audience
- Creating email campaigns that feel personal, not pushy
- Coordinating print and leaflet marketing that gets noticed
- Keeping a finger on the pulse of what customers want, and feeding that back into smarter campaigns
- Liaising with office staff and stores so everyone’s aligned on live promotions
- Tracking performance and profitability, then using what you learn to do even better
- Throwing meaningful, bold ideas into the mix to push our brands forward
What we’re looking for
- 0 to 2 years’ marketing experience (placements, internships and standout personal projects all count)
- Bags of energy, drive and a proactive, can-do attitude, you make things happen
- Confident creating content: shooting and editing simple videos and photos for social and posting consistently
- Genuinely curious about AI and keen to use it to work smarter (no expert-level knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn)
- Genuinely results-driven, always asking “did this actually work?”
- A natural people-person who gets that happy customers are everything
- Cool under pressure when juggling multiple brands and deadlines
- Confident across both digital and traditional channels
- A creative spark who loves dreaming up, and testing, new ideas
Nice to have
- A degree in marketing, business or a related field (preferred, not essential)
- Experience in food, FMCG or retail marketing
- Hands-on experience with AI tools

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
