Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Executive to support brand awareness, digital marketing activities, and social media management for the Malaysia market. This role focuses on enhancing brand visibility, engaging local audiences, and supporting marketing initiatives across the F&B, retail, and SME sectors through effective content planning, branding, and digital engagement strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Support local marketing and branding initiatives for the Malaysia market.
- Manage and maintain social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu where relevant.
- Plan, create, coordinate, and schedule marketing content related to POS systems, F&B and retail industry trends, merchant success stories, product promotions, and branding campaigns.
- Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and lead generation initiatives to support business growth.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and management team to strengthen brand positioning and market presence.
- Monitor social media performance, engagement metrics, and campaign effectiveness, while preparing basic marketing reports and insights.
- Respond to customer inquiries across social media and digital channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Support lead management by compiling and qualifying inbound inquiries before coordinating with the sales team for follow-up.
- Stay updated with current digital marketing trends, social media algorithms, and local market preferences, especially within the F&B and retail sectors.
- Assist in coordinating marketing materials, promotional visuals, and branding-related activities when required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related field.
- Experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media management, branding, or content creation is preferred.
- Able to handle content writing, caption development, and basic marketing coordination.
- Familiarity with local market trends, especially within the F&B and retail industries, will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media engagement, and online branding.
- Proficient in social media platforms and basic design or content tools is a plus.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
