MARKETING MANAGER - food brand owner & distributor (Quarry Bay/5 days work)

The company operates an ISO accredited food manufacturing facility in China to support production capacity and supply reliability, and continues to expand its presence across local and regional markets

To drive brand growth and market expansion through integrated online and offline marketing strategies that strengthen our position as a trusted food brand in Hong Kong and China, while building strong relationships across all trade channels and enhancing customer loyalty through digital innovation and traditional marketing excellence.
Role Summary
You will lead our integrated online and offline marketing strategy and execution across all product categories
This is a key leadership role for a strategic thinker who is passionate about the food industry and has a proven track record of building successful brands in the FMCG/food sector with strong digital marketing expertise
The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans spanning both digital and traditional channels, manage brand positioning, and drive sales growth across our diverse customer base in Hong Kong and China
Job Description
Develop and implement comprehensive integrated online and offline marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market share, and sales growth across all product categories in Hong Kong and China markets
Lead digital marketing strategy including social media, e-commerce, search engine marketing (SEM/SEO), content marketing, and influencer partnerships
Manage marketing budget and allocate resources effectively across digital channels (social media, e-commerce platforms, online advertising) and traditional channels (TV, print, outdoor, trade marketing)
Lead brand positioning, messaging, and creative development for food raw materials, food ingredients, finished food products
Collaborate with sales teams to develop trade marketing initiatives and support supermarket chains, convenience stores, F&B groups, restaurants, and hotels in Hong Kong and China
Plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations to drive customer engagement
Develop content for marketing materials, including packaging, catalogs, brochures, digital assets, and social media
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights in the food and FMCG sector
Manage relationships with digital marketing agencies, media partners, and creative vendors
Monitor marketing performance metrics and prepare regular reports on campaign effectiveness, ROI, and brand health across digital and traditional channels
Lead and mentor a small marketing team including designers
Coordinate with the manufacturing facility in Guangdong on new product development and production planning
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings in Hong Kong and China
Ideal Candidates
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably in FMCG/food industry with strong digital marketing expertise
Proven track record of successful brand management and marketing campaign execution across both online and offline channels
Strong understanding of Hong Kong and China food retail market, including supermarket, convenience store, and e-commerce channels
Experience working with F&B clients, restaurants, hotels, and catering companies
Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and consumer insights
Good communications in English & Chinese
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools (social media management, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, e-commerce platforms)
Strong digital marketing and e-commerce experience (social media, online advertising, content marketing, influencer marketing)
Advantageous : B2B and trade marketing experience
Strategic mindset with strong execution skills in both digital and traditional marketing
