Marketing Specialist
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and also plays a key role in supporting the development of hospitality projects. The role
focuses on:
● Conceptualizing seasonal promotions
● Supporting product development, improvement, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
● Contributes to the planning and development of hospitality projects by assisting in market research, feasibility studies, and stakeholder coordination.
● Provide recommendations based on research findings to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Feasibility Support
● Conduct industry, competitor, and consumer trend research to guide project planning.
● Prepare feasibility analyses and data reports to support management decisions.
● Provide recommendations based on research findings to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
2. Marketing Strategy Development
● Develop and implement marketing strategies that strengthen brand positioning and visibility.
● Align marketing initiatives with business objectives, guest preferences, and market demand.
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure integrated marketing communications across channels (digital, print, in-house).
3. Product Development & Innovation
● Collaborate with operations, to conceptualize and launch new café products or improve existing offerings.
● Conduct market and customer research to identify trends, seasonal opportunities, and pricing strategies.
● Oversee the creative rollout of new product campaigns, ensuring effective market positioning.
4. Seasonal Promotions Design & Execution
● Conceptualize innovative F&B promotions and seasonal campaigns to attract and retain customers.
● Coordinate with the corporate support committee, operations team to ensure promotions are aligned and executable.
● Monitor sales and guest feedback on promotions to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
● Track and analyze key performance metrics for both business development and marketing activities.
● Prepare regular reports highlighting outcomes, gaps, and recommendations for improvement.
● Present findings and insights to management for decision-making and future strategy alignment.
Qualifications
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
● At least 3–5 years of experience in marketing, promotions, or business development, preferably within hospitality, F&B, or property development.
● Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing F&B promotions, marketing campaigns, or guest engagement initiatives.
● Exposure to feasibility studies, financial planning, or market research is an advantage. Key
Skills:
● Excellent creative and conceptual thinking for designing promotions and marketing initiatives. ● Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging internal teams, corporate partners, and external stakeholders.
● Proficiency in marketing tools, digital platforms, and MS Office (knowledge of design tools is an advantage).
