Marketing Specialist (Entry Level)
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly independent and results-driven Marketing Specialist (Product-Focused) to take full ownership of go-to-market (GTM) strategies, campaign creation, and execution to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement for our SaaS product. This role requires a self-starter who can develop marketing plans, create content, manage campaigns, plan events, and track performance—all without the need for extensive collaboration or external support.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in digital marketing, content creation, campaign management, product positioning, and event planning with the ability to execute end-to-end marketing initiatives independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Go-To-Market Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new features and product updates.
- Conduct market research, understand industry trends, analyze competitors, and define the target audience to ensure effective positioning.
- Define the product’s unique value proposition (UVP) and develop messaging frameworks to maximize customer appeal.
2. Campaign Creation & Execution:
- Plan, create, and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, paid ads, website, and more).
- Design and write marketing materials, including landing pages, ads, email campaigns, blog posts, and case studies.
- Develop compelling visual and written content, including graphics, videos, and product demos.
- Manage and optimize SEO, PPC, social media, and influencer marketing efforts to maximize product visibility.
3. Messaging & Value Proposition Development:
- Craft clear, engaging, and persuasive product messaging to drive customer interest.
- Create sales enablement materials, including one-pagers, pitch decks, and FAQs, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Write and manage all product-related blog posts, visibility posts, press releases, and whitepapers to highlight product features and benefits.
4. Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, lead generation, customer engagement).
- Use data insights to refine and continuously optimize marketing strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing on various campaigns to determine the most effective messaging and formats.
- Provide regular reports and actionable insights to ensure marketing efforts drive real business results.
5. Event Planning & Coordination:
- Plan and manage virtual and in-person events, including product webinars, trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Develop event marketing strategies to ensure high attendance and engagement.
- Handle all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, registration management, speaker coordination, and promotional materials.
- Create event-related content, presentations, and post-event follow-ups to nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Track and analyze event success metrics to optimize future event strategies.
6. Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update customer databases and marketing lists.
- Process invoices and maintain an organized record of expenses.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
7. Other Duties:
- Support cross-functional teams with marketing-related tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and tools to propose new ideas for marketing activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
✅ 2-5 years of experience in product marketing, digital marketing, or SaaS marketing.
✅ Strong expertise in end-to-end campaign execution, from strategy to analytics.
✅ Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM platforms.
✅ Experience managing SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media marketing independently.
✅ Strong writing skills for creating high-quality content, copywriting, and marketing materials.
✅ Ability to use graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing tools.
✅ Experience in event planning and management with a proven track record of successful product-related events.
✅ Highly self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
