Marketing Specialist – International Education
Academies Australasia is a leading education group with 118 years of history - with 17 colleges in Australia and one in Singapore. We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the marketing team in Sydney. In this role, you will develop, implement and coordinate innovative advertising campaigns, research and identify new market opportunities, and establish strategic partnerships in Australia and overseas. The role requires travel interstate and overseas to represent our colleges at industry events and make a direct impact on student recruitment and enrolments.
Key accountabilities:
- Research, identify, develop and implement market opportunities for new partnerships overseas, including Africa.
- Design advertising and digital campaigns to boost brand awareness using Canva or similar design platforms.
- Development of strategies to ensure the visibility of the group’s brand.
- Support international market growth through market analysis and digital campaigns.
- Promote colleges at recruitment fairs, events, and functions.
- Ensure marketing activities comply with the ESOS Act, National Code, and other regulatory requirements.
Criteria:
- Australian Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business/Marketing
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Australian international education sector, with experience in recruitment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a second language, preferably French.
- Strong understanding of education industry regulations and international student visa framework.
- Experience managing EDM campaigns and marketing automation platforms, including Mailchimp.
- Ability to work effectively across culturally diverse environments.
- Proven organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as part of a cooperative team.
Desirable
- Australian post secondary qualification in Marketing Communications.
- Experience using student management systems, including Paradigm and PRISMS, to support reporting and market analysis.
- Experience developing promotional materials using Canva or similar design platforms
Pay: $77,000.00 per year
