Marketing Specialist – Social Media Development

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Specialist to lead the development and management of our social media presence. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this role will be primarily focused on social media growth, content creation, audience engagement, and brand development across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, strengthening customer engagement, growing our online community, and supporting lead generation and business growth across all divisions of the NCG.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, customer acquisition, and lead generation across all business divisions.
• Manage and grow NCG's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Business Profile, ensuring content remains relevant, engaging, and aligned with company objectives.
• Create, coordinate, and publish high-quality content, including videos, photography, graphics, customer success stories, project showcases, educational content, and promotional campaigns.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting schedules and strategic campaign execution across all digital platforms.
• Monitor social media performance, audience engagement, and industry trends, providing regular reports and recommendations to improve reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversion outcomes.
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, reviews, enquiries, and messages in a timely and professional manner while maintaining the company’s brand voice.
• Identify and implement emerging social media trends, content formats, influencer opportunities, and platform developments to strengthen NCG's digital presence and competitive position.
• Assist the Head of Marketing in developing and executing marketing strategies that support business growth, customer acquisition, and brand development.
• Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to manage and optimise digital marketing channels, including the company website, SEO/SEM, email marketing, Google Ads, and other online advertising platforms, to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
• Support the Head of Marketing in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional marketing channels.
• Coordinate marketing events, trade shows, sponsorship activities, and promotional campaigns to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations to support marketing strategies.
• Perform other marketing, branding, and communications duties as reasonably directed by the Head of Marketing.

Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing or a related field (Public Relations/Advertising)

2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing, digital marketing, or social media management role.

3. Demonstrated experience developing and growing social media channels, including content planning, audience engagement, community management, and performance analysis.

4. Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, photography, video production, and graphic design.

5. Strong copywriting skills and high attention to detail. Experience in drafting engaging marketing communications across a variety of channels and mediums.

6. Experience in social media strategy, management and content creation.

7. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or equivalent.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating memorable events
