Resident Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Resident Manager serves as the full time, on site representative of Empire Residences, responsible for delivering an exceptional living experience for owners and guests while maintaining the property at the highest standard of quality and presentation. This role combines on site building management, owner relations, and food & beverage operations. The Resident Manager is the face of the property’s day to day operations and is expected to maintain a polished, professional presence at all times.
ON-SITE HOUSING
The compensation package includes a one bedroom residence with all utilities, provided as a condition of employment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Oversight & Vendor Management
- Conduct weekly inspections of the property—interior and exterior—to ensure all areas are maintained to the standards expected of a luxury ski-in/ski-out residence
- Track work orders through completion Oversee contracted common area cleaning vendors; hold them accountable to defined scope of work, address quality issues, and escalate deficiencies as needed
- Oversee contracted snow removal vendor; while removal is contracted, the Resident Manager must be prepared to perform light shoveling on an occasional or emergency basis
- Operate company vehicles and equipment safely in all weather conditions; valid driver’s license required
- Identify and proactively report opportunities to improve property quality, safety, or presentation
- Perform weekly unit inspections of Diversified Property Services managed condos to ensure residences are maintained in excellent condition
Owner & Guest Relations
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for all homeowner inquiries, requests, and concerns
- Respond to all homeowner communications promptly, professionally, and with genuine warmth; document issues and resolutions
- Escalate concerns to the General Manager or appropriate department where needed, ensuring seamless follow through
- Foster a welcoming and community oriented atmosphere throughout the property, building authentic relationships with homeowners
- Act as a knowledgeable resource on local information including Deer Valley, Park City, and the surrounding region
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all owner information, unit access, and residence data
- Send regular owner communications and updates as directed by the General Manager
Food & Beverage – Après Ski Program
- Coordinate, set up, operate, and break down all aspects of the après ski program, hosted Thursday through Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the winter season
- Plan and forecast food and beverage quantities based on expected building occupancy
- Identify and maintain relationships with appropriate food vendors; develop a purchasing strategy consistent with the budget allocated for food service
- Create and maintain a rotating menu of high quality offerings consistent with the direction provided by the HOA Management Committee and General Manager
Property Standards & Vendor Oversight
- Ensure that all contracted vendors—including cleaning and snow removal—are performing to the standards outlined in their agreements
- Conduct regular walk-throughs following contracted cleaning services to verify completeness and quality; provide written or verbal feedback and document recurring issues
- Oversee any maintenance sub-contractors working on the property; monitor project progress and ensure completion prior to owner arrivals
- Ensure that all work areas, mechanical rooms, and storage areas are kept clean, organized, and code compliant
Team & Administrative Support
- Act as a liaison across departments, fostering teamwork and cooperation with all team members
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings as required
- Maintain a professional, polished appearance and workspace consistent with the standards of a luxury residential environment
- Uphold all company policies and standards; provide documentation of issues and resolutions as directed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of two years of experience in a hospitality or residential property management role; experience in a luxury or resort residential environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to engage professionally with high net worth homeowners, vendors, and staff
- Food and beverage experience preferred, with the ability to manage a small scale hospitality program independently
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Ability to perform occasional light physical tasks; valid driver's license required
- Comfortable operating company vehicles in variable mountain weather conditions
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by property operations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
