LPAS Architecture + Design, is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Architectural and Interior Design firm. For over 45 years, we have focused on how buildings affect people’s lives, and we are looking for a motivated and talented Proposal/Marketing Coordinator to join our team in either our Sacramento or Oakland office.
The primary function of this position is to support the development, coordination, and execution of project proposal submissions and pursuits. In this role, you will help strengthen our visibility as a leading architectural design firm through a blend of creative thinking and tactical execution.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with leadership, design, and consultant teams in the development of Proposals and Qualification packages (RFQs and RFPs).
- Determine proposal content from RFPs, RFQs
- Work with consultants and in-house personnel to gather content and proactively engage with staff to gather information within a deadline-driven environment.
- Prepare and organize proposal content, write sections, coordinate other sections written by others, select graphics, proofread, and format
- Identify proposal interim and final deadlines, including copy production, mail/overnight/other delivery, electronic submission, and take independent, proactive action to ensure proposal delivery before date/time of deadline.
- Maintain and update our library of high-quality creative materials needed to deliver consistent messaging and quickly turn around ad hoc requests, specifically project profiles and templates, content for boilerplate material, project portfolios, and team quals (across digital and print collateral)
- Assist in monitoring contracting opportunity websites and downloading requests for proposal (RFP), requests for qualifications (RFQ) and associated documents. Assist in automating delivery of relevant email and paid search engine RFPs and RFQs to our firm.
- Prepare presentations and other materials for client interviews, meet-and-greets, and other engagements
- Take the lead on social media efforts and collaborate with team to provide ideas for expanding our social media presence and delivery of fresh content. Will assist with website updates and social media posts.
- May assist with CRM (SalesForce) data entry, retrieval of information, and reports
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Public Relations, Communications or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a marketing, proposal, or business development specialist role
- Experience in an architectural or engineering office is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite required; Illustrator and/or Photoshop proficiency is a great but not required
- Excellent communication skills required: verbal, technical writing and creative writing as well as proofreading and editing.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
- Energetic self-starter able to work well in a small team as well as independently.
- Strong graphic and composition sense, both visual and written.

The salary range for this position is $35.10 ($73,000) - $43.28 ($90,022) per hour. If you are hired, your base salary is based on factors such as skills, education, geographic location and experience.
