About the Position and You:
The Retail Marketing & Loyalty Coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end execution of retail marketing campaigns and customer loyalty initiatives across the Unichem and Life Pharmacy networks.
The role delivers profitable, compliant, and engaging campaigns by coordinating promotional mailers, loyalty activations, EDMs, SMS, POS, and instore execution. It plays a critical role in driving new customer acquisition, customer retention, re-engaging lapsed customers, and operational guardian of the Living Rewards customer database, while continually improving marketing processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
This is a 14 month fixed term, covering parental leave, working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
Do you have what we are looking for?
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, business or similar
- Previous experience in retail support office function. Ideally with a background in loyalty, customer engagement or direct marketing
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous
- Experience in working with platform vendors, product suppliers and third parties like advertising agencies
- Strong customer focus. An understanding of marketing principles and in particular loyalty / rewards programme objectives and operation
- Strong PC skills. Ability to pick up new platforms.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Collaborative, supportive and helpful
- Ability to handle pressure due to multiple demands within a fast paced, dynamic environment
