Sales and Marketing Specialist
Role Objective
To lead high-impact growth initiatives, investor education programs, and strategic partnerships that directly contribute to client acquisition, activation, and AUM growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth & Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and execute data-driven campaigns targeting:
- Retail investors (EIP funnel)
- Corporate accounts
- HNI segments
- Identify and scale high-converting acquisition channels
2. Funds Training & Capability Building
- Lead and deliver structured funds training programs for:
- Internal stakeholders (sales teams, agents)
- External stakeholders (clients, corporate partners, communities)
- Design:
- Modular training programs (Beginner → Advanced)
- Sales enablement training tied to actual fund positioning
- Ensure training outcomes translate into measurable AUM growth
3. Employee Investment Program (EIP) Ownership
- Spearhead the end-to-end execution of EIP (Financial Wellness Programs):
- Program design and structuring
- Client presentations and onboarding
- Coordination with Sales and HR partners
- Ensure EIP sessions convert into:
- Funded accounts
- Recurring investments
- Build EIP as a consistent AUM acquisition channel
4. Partnerships & External Marketing
- Develop partnerships with:
- Corporations (for EIP rollout)
- Communities and organizations
- Distribution partners
- Drive lead generation and investor acquisition through partnerships
5. Events & Activation
- Lead execution of:
- Investor briefings
- HNI pocket sessions
- Affinity Campus and similar initiatives
- Ensure events result in actual investment conversion (not just attendance)
6. Content Strategy & Market Positioning
- Oversee development of high-conversion content aligned with:
- Market conditions
- Fund opportunities
- Sales priorities
- Translate complex financial concepts into actionable investor insights
KPIs
- AUM generated from campaigns, EIP, and partnerships
- Number of EIP programs launched and converted
- Training sessions delivered (internal & external)
- Training-to-investment conversion rate
- Cost per acquisition (CPA)
- Event-to-investor conversion rate
Development Path
- Rotation into:
- Sales strategy and closing exposure
- Product and portfolio positioning
- Progression to:
- Marketing Manager / Growth Lead
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in financial marketing, bancassurance, mutual funds, or UITF space preferred
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Commercial mindset (focused on conversion and revenue)
- Ability to translate market movements into actionable investor strategies
