Scientific Coordinator (m/f/d) Institution Electron Microscopy Unit (BeEM) Remuneration EG 13 TV-L ID 13926WM26 Start of employment as soon as possible Application deadline 22.06.2026 Scope fulltime - and fixed term until 36 months For the Electron Microscopy Unit (BeEM) at the Hamburg University of Technology we are looking for a scientist and electron microscopy coordinator to the Collaborative Research Center (CRC 1615) "SMART Reactors for the Process Engineering of the Future" as of 01.07.2026. In order to cope with climate change and create resilient supply chains, a switch from fossil fuels to renewable raw materials is indispensable. Under the leadership of the Hamburg University of Technology, the CRC 1615 is developing processes and reactors that react flexibly to fluctuating properties of renewable raw materials and thus enable more resilient process engineering processes in a self-adapting way. BeEM provides to the entire TUHH and other public institutions modern equipment, methods and expertise in the field of electron microscopy and microanalysis. As a central scientific operating unit, the BeEM develops methods and techniques for electron microscopy, participates in interdisciplinary research projects and conducts its own research work.
