Senior Digital Marketing Executive
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Executive with a strong focus on creating engaging content and driving marketing strategies for social media and corporate branding. In this role, you will combine your creative design skills with your corporate marketing expertise to produce high-quality content. Your primary responsibility will be to craft impactful marketing materials, social media posts, and video content, while also managing our corporate presence and email campaigns. You’ll be working within a dynamic remote marketing team, ensuring content aligns with our brand vision and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging marketing materials, graphics, and video content for both online campaigns and print using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut.
- Develop, execute, and optimize social media marketing strategies across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms using tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creative Center, Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, and Metricool.
- Manage and update the company’s website and intranet using WordPress and WIX, ensuring content is current and aligned with brand goals.
- Design and manage email campaigns with a focus on engagement using Constant Contact, MailChimp, or similar platforms.
- Utilize AI content and video creation tools (Runway ML, Open AI SORA, Google VEO, Pika Labs, Luma AI, Descript, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT) for scripting, ideation, and content production.
- Edit and enhance audio, captions, and assets using Adobe Audition, auto-caption tools (CapCut, VEED, Subtitles.ai), and licensed audio platforms (Epidemic Sound, Soundstripe, or similar).
- Conduct data analysis to evaluate campaign success, social media performance, and lead generation effectiveness; report findings to management.
- Collaborate with the communications team to support community events, sponsorships, fundraisers, and international conferences, ensuring consistent brand representation.
- Build and maintain brand awareness through effective positioning, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms.
- Work closely with the Sales & Pricing team to create sales materials, presentations, campaigns, and other support tools to drive business growth.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications required:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Marketing or Graphic Design qualification (or similar).
- Proficiency in website development using WordPress and WIX.
- Proficiency in design and branding tools, including Canva (Advanced – brand kits, animations), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in video editing and motion, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects (motion graphics, kinetic text), DaVinci Resolve and/or Final Cut Pro, and CapCut.
- Candidates proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects are expected to have working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation workflows.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in AI video and content creation tools, including Runway ML, Open AI SORA or Google VEO, Pika Labs and/or Luma AI, Descript, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT or equivalent.
- Proficiency in audio editing, captioning, and asset creation tools, including Adobe Audition or equivalent, auto-caption tools (CapCut / VEED / Subtitles.ai), and licensed audio platforms (Epidemic Sound, Soundstripe, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of analytics and social media platforms, including Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creative Center, Instagram Insights, Hootsuite / Later / Sprout Social / Metricool.
