Senior Marketing Specialist – Brand & KOL Marketing

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of full-funnel marketing strategies across awareness, consideration, and conversion, covering digital, social media, influencer, and traditional advertising channels.
- Analyze marketing trends, consumer behavior, and beauty industry developments in the Malaysia market to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure brand consistency across campaigns, advertisements, content, and customer touchpoints while keeping the brand fresh, relevant, and appealing to the local target audience.
- Forecast campaign growth, ROI, and performance outcomes, working closely with product development and business development teams to align marketing activities with business objectives.
- Coordinate and guide cross-functional teams, including advertising, design, content, and creative teams, to ensure high-quality and consistent marketing materials.
- Plan and execute key brand initiatives, including beauty-related events, product launches, media activations, and high-profile influencer collaborations.
- Drive KOL and influencer seeding strategies to increase brand awareness, publicity, engagement, traffic, and sales.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, encouraging a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven working culture.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, preparing regular reports for senior leadership with insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure resources are allocated effectively across campaigns to achieve performance goals.
- Stay ahead of beauty, social media, influencer, and consumer trends, identifying new platforms, tactics, and opportunities to strengthen brand visibility.
- Support additional projects assigned by senior leadership in line with broader business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within skincare, beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or related industries.
- Experience handling marketing activities for the Malaysia Market.
- Strong background in content creation, creative briefing, campaign coordination, and social media marketing, especially on Instagram.
- Proven hands-on experience working with KOLs, influencers, creators, or talent agencies in Malaysia.
- Strong understanding of current beauty, consumer, digital, and social media trends in Malaysia.
- Excellent communication, creativity, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.
- Prior experience in skincare, beauty, makeup, or cosmetics is an added advantage.
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
