SEO AND MARKETING SPECIALIST
Job Overview
As the SEO and Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the company’s online visibility, brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation through strategic digital marketing initiatives. This role combines SEO, content marketing, social media management, and digital campaign execution to support the company’s overall growth objectives.
You will be expected to develop and implement marketing strategies that improve organic traffic, increase social media presence, generate quality leads, and strengthen the company’s digital footprint across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketing professional who understands how SEO, content, social media, and digital campaigns work together to achieve measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, website traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and others.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including social media posts, blogs, newsletters, website content, and marketing campaigns.
- Research and implement SEO strategies including keyword research, on-page optimization, content optimization, and basic technical SEO improvements.
- Monitor search engine rankings and optimize content to improve organic visibility and website performance.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to drive audience growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other team members to create compelling digital content.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics including website traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Business Suite, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms to track and improve performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify new growth opportunities and trends.
- Assist in running paid digital campaigns where necessary, including social media promotions and Google Ads support.
- Optimize website and social content to align with SEO and brand best practices.
- Develop content calendars and maintain consistency in the company’s digital communication.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, algorithm changes, and emerging social media strategies.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, product launches, and brand campaigns across digital channels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, Social Media Management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization.
- Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and growing online engagement.
- Excellent content writing and copywriting skills for digital platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of paid advertising campaigns is an added advantage.
- Ability to interpret marketing data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO writing, content marketing, or digital marketing.
- Portfolio showcasing SEO-focused content and measurable results.
- Certification in SEO, Content Marketing, or Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦600,000.00 per month
