SEO & PPC Growth Manager (Remote)

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to support company growth. This role requires a proactive, commercially driven individual with agency experience and a strong understanding of digital marketing services, particularly SEO and PPC. The successful candidate will build lasting client relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate closely with internal delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outbound prospecting, partnerships, and inbound leads
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Develop tailored proposals and pitch presentations aligned with client objectives
- Work collaboratively with SEO, and wider digital marketing teams to ensure accurate scoping and solution design
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and digital marketing best practices
- Meet and exceed revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Accurately manage CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting
- Represent the agency at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role
- Previous agency experience, preferably within a digital marketing, media, or creative agency
- Working knowledge of SEO and PPC, including how these services drive business results
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to confidently present and pitch to senior decision-makers
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Experience managing long-term client relationships and repeat business
Desirable Experience
- Experience selling digital marketing services
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
- Experience responding to RFPs and tenders
- Understanding of performance-based marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rates)
