SEO Specialist (Full-Time)
OAM is a South African-based company delivering full-spectrum web development and digital marketing services to clients in France and worldwide. We support over 30 international brands across sectors including international removals, relocation, records management, and heritage preservation.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our Marketing Department. You will work closely with the Communications and Web Development teams to manage and improve the SEO performance of more than 30 international brand websites.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving organic visibility, website performance, and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly SEO reports covering traffic, keyword rankings, page performance, leads, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct keyword research and monitor rankings using tools such as Semrush.
- Develop content and SEO strategies to improve traffic, conversions, and lead generation.
- Optimise website content, articles, meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal links, image alt tags, canonical tags, and site structure.
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues using tools such as Semrush and Screaming Frog.
- Provide recommendations to improve website speed, content performance, and overall SEO health.
- Set up and manage tracking through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Matomo Analytics.
- Manage Google Business Profile listings and support off-page SEO through listings, backlinks, and partner websites.
- Provide SEO recommendations for new websites in development.
- Stay up to date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and digital marketing best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in SEO or digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
- Experience with Semrush, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Matomo, Bing Webmaster Tools, GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, Screaming Frog, and Excel.
- Good understanding of search engines, ranking factors, and website optimisation.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple brands, tasks, and deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Advantageous
- Experience with WordPress.
- Experience with Keyword Hero, Jasper.ai, or similar tools.
- Additional European language skills, especially French, German, or Dutch.
