SEO Specialist
Job description:
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated SEO Specialist with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in search engine optimization. The candidate will be responsible for improving website visibility, driving organic traffic, and supporting digital marketing initiatives through effective SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking structures.
- Assist in implementing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Perform regular SEO audits and recommend improvements.
- Support content teams with SEO-friendly content guidelines and keyword targeting.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO performance metrics.
- Build and manage quality backlinks through ethical link-building practices.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of SEO experience.
- Good understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO concepts.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, WordPress, and website structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in content optimization and SEO content strategy.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization.
- Familiarity with local SEO and schema markup.
